Two Saturdays each month the BEARS meet at a local restaurant for breakfast. This pay-your-own-way event lets us meet in person. It is also a good opportunity for anyone interested in Amateur Radio to meet licensed hams and get advice on topics such as: how to get a ham license; where to find free classes and exam sessions; what equipment to select; operating tips; anything about the ham radio hobby; and much more. Please come to a breakfast -- you do not need to be a club member or a licensed radio operator.
